Apple has announced that all songs on the iTunes store will become DRM (Digital Rights Management) free! Before one could not play iTunes music on other players than Apple's iTunes player or iPod, due to the DRM protection. Now that Apple has decided to offer all songs without this protection, they're free to be played on any digital music player, including Sonos! Apple announces this as "iTunes Plus is the new standard on iTunes - High-quality, DRM-free music". iTunes songs bought before can be "upgraded" to iTunes Plus (without DRM), for as little as 30 cents.
